Zachry Associates announces new branding, services
Abilene-based marketing agency Zachry Associates recently announced that it will be rebranding as “Zachry+”, coinciding with the introduction of a new service line focusing on outdoor advertising.
“The new effort in using Zachry+ has been created to highlight the diverse areas of expertise within the company” said vice president Bob Nutt in a news release.
The company’s new outdoor service, which includes an LED billboard on Antilley Road, comes in addition to existing divisions in digital services, fundraising and traditional marketing.
Lustea expands to Abilene
Following the opening of its first U.S. location in October of last year in San Antonio, Lustea — a boba tea and Vietnamese snack shop — recently announced that it will be opening a location in Abilene, with a soft launch later this month.
Starting Saturday, the company’s second U.S. store, at 3751 Catclaw Drive, will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sundays.
The tea shop — which will also serve specialty drinks, finger foods ad desserts — will offer both indoor dining and online ordering.
Abilene physicians in Texas Medical Association leadership
Two Abilene physicians, both members of the Big Country County Medical Society, recently started terms of service in leadership roles in the Texas Medical Association.
Otolaryngologist Jason L. Acevedo, MD, who has been practicing for 12 years, was reelected to the TMA Council on Socioeconomics.
Internist Samantha Hirsch Goodman, MD, who has been practicing for nine years, was reappointed to serve on TMA Committee on Rural Health, which she will chair.
