Further Expanding Its Capabilities and Footprint, The IMA Group Acquires Orchard Medical Consulting

TARRYTOWN, N.Y.–()–The IMA Group announced today its acquisition of Orchard Medical Consulting, marking the company’s fourth such venture in 24 months. The latest expansion adds case and disability management capabilities to the company’s comprehensive clinical programs and services, strengthening its service offering and geographic coverage.

Orchard’s services include a dedicated team of trained and experienced RN case managers who are supervised by a panel of industry experts. All nurses receive extensive training and have an average of 18-plus years in case management, making the team one of the most experienced in the industry.

Orchard nurses are recipients of numerous industry awards, serve on boards and commissions, and are consultants on the national treatment guidelines’ advisory board. Additionally, Orchard intentionally keeps its ratio of files to nurses lower than industry averages to ensure the highest levels of care, while driving the best outcomes for injured workers and clients.

In addition to nurse case management, Orchard offers catastrophic case management and an aggressive injury management program that allows nurse case managers to coordinate initial care as soon as a workplace injury occurs.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed by the privately held company. All of Orchard’s key leadership will remain, and the company will continue to operate under its current name.
