Bill Gates’ Daughter Jennifer Postponing Medical School Amid Her Parents’ Nasty $128 Billion Divorce

Bill Gates‘ oldest child has decided to postpone medical school amid her parents’ nasty $128 billion divorce battle.

Bill and Melinda Gates‘ 25-year-old daughter Jennifer made the shocking announcement on Thursday, revealing she needs to take some time off and “recharge” her batteries.

Taking to her social media, the eldest of Bill’s spawn posted a photo of herself and her puppy and explained the reasoning behind her difficult decision.

Starting with an inspirational quote, Jennifer wrote, “Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that’s the one that is going to help you grow.”

She followed that up by getting straight to the point.

“I made the decision to postpone my STEP 1 US Medical Licensing Examination until next year,” Jennifer said, revealing the decision was made last week.

She wrote that her instinct told her to “keep working harder and push through,” but her intuition was telling her “to take a step back.”

Bill Gates’ daughter revealed to her followers that she “knew I needed to give myself a break to rest and recharge,” adding it “wasn’t an easy choice,” especially because of the work ethic that was drilled into her at a young age.

“I am so used to leaning in to the hustle, but I feel good about it and am proud of how I found my way through this decision,” Jennifer explained.

Whether she’s closing the door completely on medical school is another story.

“I so appreciate the opportunity to adjust my plans as life unfolds, and am looking forward to slowing down a bit over the next couple weeks,” she said.

Ending her announcement, Jennifer wrote, “Thank you @icahnmountsinai for allowing this choice to MD candidates, and good luck to those taking the test this month – I have so much faith in you!”

Bill Gates’ oldest daughter’s pause on her education comes as the Microsoft tycoon squares off with his soon-to-be ex-wife regarding the children’s inheritance.

According to reports, he’s prepared to each of the kids only $10 million from his estate, which is a small chunk of change when he’s worth nearly $130 billion.

The divorce — which was announced earlier this month — has also made headlines after it was revealed Bill had an affair with a Microsoft employee decades ago while he was married.

On top of her family’s drama, Jennifer is also planning her own wedding, deciding to tie the knot while her parents’ decided to end theirs after 27 years.
